For this project, we took a room with just a few shelves and racks and converted it into an upscale closet made for any fashionista.
We added an island, mirror, additional shelving and drawers for undergarments and jewelry.
The center island and shelving up above are all from Ikea. And the additional drawers we added are from Michaels. Links provided below.

Michael's Modular shelf, used for small accessories and undergarments.
Labels ordered from AMAZON (see ESSENTIALS LIST)
This project was a facelift and was not a total makeover.
We refreshed the closet by editing a few unwanted items and then moving items to new homes, places that made a little more sense for them to have a home.
We purchased a linen box for important papers. A jewelry and purse organizer, and a beautiful box to hide away some hats that were worn only ever so frequently.
All of the product was purchased from The Container Store.
Below are my favorites, all which complement each other, bringing a functional and fashionable look to any closet.

In this traditional dorm room, we worked with our client to ensure she had everything she needed as she embarked on her college adventure.
Prior to arriving we worked with our client and provided her with a customized list of necessities (you can review some of our favorites on the MUST HAVE AMAZON COLLEGE LIST).
We purchased the goods, shipped, and prepped our client so she was ready to unpack on
Items we shopped for in advance: Bedding, Throw pillows, Under the bed drawers, Laundry Bin, Storage Cube, Bedside Table, Fan, Nightside Lamp, Desk Lamp, Table Miirror, Jewelry Organizer, etc...
Items purchased in advance that were picked up at school: Rug, Futon, Curtain Poles, Laundry basket, Small Appliances, Mirror - Any large items that are too big and can get too pricey to ship.

OBJECTIVE: This room needs to serve as a home office for a catering business and a storage area for food and supplies for the business.
OBSTACLES: Gym equipment that can not be moved and closet with sliding doors filled with personal belongings of the family.
STEP ONE: Edited the desk area, getting rid of any unnecessary paper and items. We next worked with the client to see what his daily/weekly needs were to come up with a system for filing, budgeting, and marketing,
Our next step was to tackle the racks and create a system that helped with inventory control and being able to find items when you are looking for them.
Remember:
EVERYTHING NEEDS A PLACE
These types of projects can seem overwhelming. It is important to do one area at time.
Divide everything into piles and access what you have to work with.
Throw away what you dont need.

You can see there was a sliding closet in this room. We removed all of the families belonging from the closet and opted to use it for more storage.
These are amazing racks, you can purchase them from amazon or target (check link in AMAZON LINK). They are adjustable and easy to put together.
We used small bamboo dividers for the food separation. They are functional and look good.
This system will help with inventory and *trick, put the newest dates in the front and those that will expire last, in the back.
This client had a 5 year old daughter who had outgrown her changing table, but was still using it as a dresser, We took some time to help her with that conversion,
We first edited and donated many of her pajama sets that were too small (with her permission of course), then we assessed what had to go back in the drawers and we came up wth a plan to make it the easiest for the child.
We purchased bamboo wooden dividers (listed in AMAZON ESSENTIALS), to create a division between underwear, socks and PJ's.
Folding by color, especially for younger children, helps keep them involved in picking out their clothes and you have the best chance of keeping them organized!
As we worked our way down the dresser, we followed the same pattern. Dividing the cloths using the bamboo dividers and by category and color.
What to do when you have an overstuffed close filled with costumes, clothes from all ages and maybe a few things that you are not sure even belong in the close?!
Just a few key pieces and you can sort everything out.
As we discussed earlier, always EDIT first. Throw away or donate whatever you don't need.
For this closet we re-used the accordion folder - its great for kids to pre-pick out their clothes for the week. Label each section, MON-FRI.
We then purchased a linen put it yourself together dresser (FROM AMAZON) to add some more storage.
We bought mat
